An annual October event since 2003, this popular four-day event includes Western music, Gunfight re-enactments, Native American dance demonstrations, and so much more! The festive Kids Corner has a petting zoo, inflatables, mechanical bull rides, and a variety of free activities for children. This year’s featured artist is Howard Post, and Sons of the Pioneers will be the featured entertainers.

THURSDAY

  • Passport to the West School Program with performances by Native Americans Laura Alcorn and Little Big Mountain
  • Gallery Walk, Exhibition Opening, Reception and Artist Lecture with Howard Post as he introduces¬†The West Observed: The Art of Howard Post

FRIDAY

  • Passport to the West School Program with performances by Native Americans Laura Alcorn and Little Big Mountain
  • Painting Workshop with Howard Post
  • Western Art History Symposium

SATURDAY

  • Southeastern Cowboy Festival 10 AM-5 PM with three stages with continuous entertainment including the Saturday-only Cowpoke Corner Children’s Stage, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral reenactment, living history encampments, Western marketplace
  • Sons of the Pioneers at the Grand Theatre at 7 PM – Concert Tickets $25-$30 available to public September 1, call 770-387-1300

SUNDAY

  • Cowboy Church 11 AM
  • Southeastern Cowboy Festival Noon-5 PM
