Tours will highlight some of the African American traditions, history, and folklore found in Oak Hill Cemetery. Participants will be guided through two sections of the cemetery and will hear stories of people, tombstones, funerary traditions and more as costumed actors portray individuals interred in the cemetery.

Tours begin at 5 PM and depart every half hour with the last departure at 6:30 PM. The one-hour walking tour takes participants on both grass and concrete and up small inclines. Please wear comfortable shoes. Tickets $18 each must be purchased in advance – CLICK TO PURCHASE
