Lunch & Learn: Georgia Place-Names with Author Cathy Kaemmerlen

Author Cathy Kaemmerlen will discuss her new book Georgia Place-Names: From Jot-Em-Down to Doctortown in this interesting lunchtime lecture. The program is included in the price of museum admission and free to BHM members.
Kaemmerlen is a professional actress, storyteller, playwright, author and historical interpreter, known for her variety of one-woman shows and characters. Through her own production company, Tattlingtales Productions, she created and currently performs, along with other actors she employs, more than thirty in-school curricular-designed programs with social studies and language arts emphasis. She was recently honored to perform her one-woman show about Rosalynn Carter for the former first lady and President Carter, with the last performance at Rylander Theatre in Americus. A Hambridge fellow for more than 20 years (where she writes many of her shows and books), she has five published books.
