Rediscovering the Moon
Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of NASA’s Apollo Program and the first manned lunar landing, this exhibition explores all we have learned from a half-century of lunar exploration. Tellus Science Museum has in their permanent collection the only lunar sample on daily display to the visiting public. It weighs 4 ounces and was collected by Dave Scott during the Apollo 15 lunar mission in 1971. The exhibit is under curation and additional details will follow; opening date subject to change.
