Ross Rossin grew up watching Western movies. This would not seem unusual, except that he watched from Bulgaria. Drawing on those early memories, he has always wanted to visit Monument Valley.  Following a 9-day road trip to the Southwest in 2019 with Booth Museum Executive Director Seth Hopkins, Rossin was inspired to create a series of paintings. Featuring portraits of people the artist med and depictions of the lands the duo encountered the show confirms the American West still has the power to inspire both Americans and those from around the globe.
